| About The Club - Committee Members |
Elected annually from the membership, the primary responsibility of the Committee is to set medium and long term policy to ensure the continued success of The Club.
The Committee meet each month to review all aspects of The Club's operation and to ensure that Member's comments, suggestions and expectations are continuously assessed and considered.
Chairman ~ Hamish MacDonald
Chairs and conducts all General and Committee meetings of The Club while delegating responsibilities within the Committee, and any sub committees set up to handle specific business areas, in respect to the overall business of The Club.
Vice Chairman - Administration ~ David Heywood
Oversees the general administrative activities at The Club and represents the Chairman in his absence.
Vice Chairman - Operations ~ Steve Colthart
Oversees the general operations and day-to-day running of The Club and represents the Chairman in his absence.
Secretary ~ Rupert Evans
Calls and prepares the agenda and records the minutes of all Committee and General Meetings of The Club. The Secretary also advises on constitutional policy and organises ballots where necessary.
Treasurer ~ Andrew Palmer
Reviews The Club's financial accounts on a monthly basis while providing financial information relating to any specific matters under consideration by the Committee. He is also responsible for presenting annual budgets for income and expenditure and arranging for the appointment of auditors.
Membership Secretary ~ Ali Kaddas
Ensures that all procedures relating to membership are strictly followed while maintaining statistical information on the membership levels.
Membership Liason ~ Firas Ali
Reports all recorded incidents concerning the membership, together with recommended course of action to the Committee, while liasing with Members, Management and the Committee on all issues concerning Members conduct within The Club.
Premises Member ~ Michael McDonnell
Monitors and advises the Committee on relevant matters concerning The Club's buildings and premises.
Sports Member ~ John Van Hoogstraten
Monitors and advises the Committee on relevant matters concerning all sporting activities carried out at The Club.
Entertainments Member ~ Robert Liddington
Monitors and advises the Committee on relevant matters concerning all social sections and entertainment offered at The Club.
House Member ~ Fiona Rough
Liases between the Committee and the Management of The Club in the daily running of food and beverage outlets, together with conveying Members requests and suggestions in this respect.
